Kiiara's "Feels" is one of those tracks that lends itself perfectly to the remix treatment. Since its release almost a year ago, it has received reinterpretations from artists like Hotel Garuda, Felix Cartal, and Jai Wolf, putting their spin on her featherweight pop vocals.
I've never heard of AWAY before this remix, but his SoundCloud page contains only one other track -- a remix of Motley Crue's "THEY." These two vastly different musical choices is interesting to say the least, leaving me curious to hear his production style.
This one has a distinctly Flume-influenced future bass feel to it. It's a mix of fluttering cosmic synths and whirlwinds of atmospheric elements. AWAY plays with the timing of the verses and chorus, keeping things fresh.
