Why do we like this?

Not exactly what we expected to hear coming from Kidnap Kid, but a pleasant surprise nonetheless.

Move over weekday blues, "So Close" has trumped your drab with a bright, smooth as vanilla sound. Sinead Harnett's silky vocals perfectly compliment Kidnap Kid's ethereal instrumentation.

"So Close" is a sound as simple as bliss, and just as easily welcomed. Going further into 2013, I suspect Kidnap Kid might have something deep and grimy up his sleeve but it's nice to see a producer be so confidently diverse. Good music is good music, and Kidnap Kid has yet to produce anything but.
