Why do we like this?

After the middling experimentation of last album, Speedin' Bullet 2 Heaven, Kid Cudi looks to have gone back to his Man On The Moon phase with new tune "The Frequency."

Dropping unannounced, the track finds Cudi rapping and singing over Mike Dean and Plain Pat's hazy, spaced out production. 

While I'm sure Cudi doesn't care what anyone thinks about his musical output, I for one am glad to see he's left behind the experimental rock sounds to concentrate on fleshing out the melodic and introspective rap he made his name off.
