Why do we like this?

Those of you in the loop may have heard about Kid Cudi's revelations about fighting depression. That context makes the video for this new single "Frequency" even more haunting.

Typically I'm not the biggest fan of auto-tune, which I suppose is a testament to Cudi's song-making ability: he's crafted a track that uses the feature heavily, and I'm not turned off. So... kudos on that one as well.

Overall, excited to hear what else he's got up his sleeves. So far I like everything I've heard.
