Why do we like this?

LA-based Kid Bloom is preparing the release of his new EP A Long Kiss Goodnight and this week dropped the project's first single "Take My Breath Away."

A funky electro-pop ditty with elements of psychedelia, "Take My Breath Away" is full of groovy bass lines and soothing vocals. The auto-tuned vocals towards the track's end give it a Daft Punk feel, but it's the burgeoning melodies that make "Take my Breath Away" such a catchy, dance floor filler. 

A Long Kiss Goodnight EP is set for release on September 29th. You can listen to more of Kid Bloom here.
