Kiasmos has brought us "Flown," produced with Ólafur Arnalds and Janus Rasmussen. It's a song that happily settles in the background of any experience, and every now and then, when your ear is drawn back to it, you'll find a smooth bounce ready and waiting to pick you up.
Then there's the music video. It does not fade; it is not subtle. This small piece of cinema captivated me. At first, it seemed straightforward, delicate footage simply captured. Once the story coalesced in mind, sparked by the concept behind the music video, I was gripped. The harmony between fantastical storytelling and drone footage, and the way the two enhanced each other, was a wonder.
