Why do we like this?

The whole "lo-fi chill beats to study to" vibe seems to be a wave in 2018 that's going to ride for a while on the instrumental tip for hip-hop and R&B, and I'm not too mad about it.

It's pretty nice to throw on wavy, psychedelic tracks like Khai's "For You" and lay in bed and get all of my work done. This new sound works really well for the now Los Angeles based multi-instrumentalist.
