Kevin George is having a moment in the sun right now. It's a hazy, smoke-filled moment, no doubt, but a moment all the same -- and one worth noting if you fancy yourself a tastemaker, or need to make a good impression the next time someone passes you the aux cord.

"High Like This" caught the attention of Pigeons & Planes, who've featured George a few times, including an insightful interview with the 20-year old artist. I think P&P reposting George on SoundCloud was my introduction to these Weeknd-like vibes. My favorite thing about George (for real, read the interview) is how openly he credits his influences. Humility, and the obvious talent behind the boards and on the mic, should take this dude pretty far.
