Why do we like this?
It's not every day we post a punk song on Indie Shuffle, so KEEPERS have carved themselves a special niche by earning the accolade.
The San Diego band's sound is raw, throwing back to days past when production and special effects were an afterthought: what mattered most was energy and passion.
In light of that, you might expect these guys to be a bunch of nostalgic mid-40-year-olds. But they're not! In fact, I went to university with them. So based on my calculations, that probably pegs them in the late-20s/early-30s range. Which makes their vibe all-the-more cool.
