Although they have a new vocalist, Greece's Keep Shelly In Athens still produce the same brooding ethereal music that they're known for. In fact, their newest track "Benighted" resembles what we've heard from the Greek band in the past.
But fellow labelmate Different Sleep decided to add some of his own flavors to the track. The Chitown producer took the dreamy track and added warped, faster, almost break beat-like percussion, giving it a much more dancey feel.
If the original is the type of song you'd listen to as a lullaby for sleep, the remix by Different Sleep is the version you'd want to wake up to.
The two artists will be going on tour together starting October 31. Keep Shelly In Athens will be releasing their new album Now I'm Ready via Friends of Friends on October 16.
