Why do we like this?

Another stellar debut. My favorite thing! This time, it's called “DEFAULT,” and is by new act KEAH. 

The duo, made up of Jonas Holle and Marc Rauscher, are based between Berlin and Regensburg, and create well-crafted songs and beautifully mystical soundscapes - at least judging by this first single.

The indie electronic sound they bring forward is created in two opposing worlds: a small cabin in the Bavarian woods, and their recording studio in Kreuzberg, Berlin.

This single was a definite grower, but the gorgeous spacey-ness, unaffected vocal, layering of dreamy melodies and crisp beats pitter-pattering all around the place quickly drew me in.
