Why do we like this?
After much build up, London Grammar officially released their new album If You Wait on September 9th (last week).
Buried among the 17 tracks of the Deluxe edition, I was surprised to bump into this cover of Kavinsky's "Nightcall." It's somewhat unusual for a band to include a cover in their debut album; rather, my experience would point to these types of songs being released as "hype" tracks leading up to an album release.
Regardless of tactical decisions, it turns out that this cover is actually quite nice -- particularly when the percussion kicks in.
If you want to hear the complete work, you can grab the album off iTunes.
