Why do we like this?

New kid on the blog, Berlin-based singer, multi-instrumentalist and DJ simply known as Katerinhahas just released her debut single "Trippin." The North Macedonian singer/songwriter appears on the scene with a soulful, sultry sound which had me - well - tripping.

Her husky vocals float over a tastefully arranged instrumental, which blends analogue synths, live drums and percussion, performed by Hungarian jazz wunderkind Àbáse and jazzbois.

Katerinha's tender poetry, celebrating the indulgence of falling in love, starts off lullaby sweet before evolving into a groove-filled samba-like jam.
