Why do we like this?

A warm welcome to 19-year-old singer/songwriter Kate Miller. Miller hails from London, where she was discovered by Barry Blue during an open mic night in Northern London. Her haunting vocals are one of the key reasons why she's generating buzz around the blogosphere.

"Collar Up" is a dark indie rock track that features some intriguing lyrics. Miller's vocals really make her appear wise beyond her years; if she has more tracks up her sleeve like this one, then she's sure to be a star.

Miller will be releasing her debut EP, Neophyte, on September 29 via Karma Artists -- I'm really excited for it. Like her on Facebook and check out her website for more updates!
