Why do we like this?

Shine it Over Here

A soft folksy pick-up from Kate Bollinger takes your hand and rubs the dirt from your face.

I love how almost motherly this track is, it seems like the vocal performance is giving you some wise words of advice and telling you everything is going to be OK. Kate Bollinger has been setting a precedent of comfort and beauty in their releases, but with "Look at it in the Light" they take on a passionate and powerfully soft stance against those bad little thoughts.

It's an otherworldly and yet all-familiar blues-folk track that made me feel warm and comforted inside and I was enamored by it.
