Why do we like this?

Carlos Serrano first came to my attention with an incredible mashup of Daft Punk & Adele. If you haven't heard it before, you ought to check it out here.

Since then he's released a number of mashups, but I can't say any of them have blown me away. That is, perhaps, until this one.

Kanye West and Sam Smith go together perfectly on this track. Perhaps even better is the fact that Carlos hasn't tried to do anything fancy as far as blending vocals or introducing new harmonies. It's just plain and simple good-sounding music.
