Coming off a big year featuring on Gorillaz, Daniel Caesar and Tyler, The Creator's albums, Kali Uchis has dropped her debut album Isolation. The album includes some great collaborations, from Steve Lacy and Jorja Smith features, to tracks produced by Thundercat, BadBadNotGood and Gorillaz.
On "Tomorrow," we find Kali and her redolent voice effortlessly gliding over the groovy, synth heavy production from the Tame Impala mastermind, Kevin Parker. The instrumental he provides is laced with dreamy keys and psychedelic guitars, and has a great bounce from the bass as well.
I can't think of a better collaborator for an introspective and thought provoking song like this than Kevin Parker. The two artist's vibes mesh so well together and their chemistry truly shows on this R&B jam, and it leaves me wanting a whole lot more Kevin Parker joints like this.
Be sure to check out the rest of this album if you haven't already as it is sure to reach critical acclaim, as well as get your head swaying.
