London based singer songwriter Kadija Karama is set for big things this year if the release of her four track EP, Nothing Left To Lose, is to go by.
The collection of tracks weaves through multiple genres as Karama's soul vocals deliver infectious hooks and emotive lyrics. The EP traverses pop, rock, blues, soul and electronica, with Karama like a musical chameleon able to change her style with each song, while still making the EP sound cohesive.
"Nothing Left To Lose," the EP's title track, is a bluesy rock number built around a heartbreaking guitar riff. The song is a tale of abuse and damaged self-esteem, with Karama's powerful vocals giving the song an uplifting conclusion.
