Why do we like this?
"Ghettos & Gardens" has been one of the most talked about tracks in the last month (at least in the circles and publications I surround myself in). Justin Martin seems to be one of the most favored and likable DJs out there right now. All good news for him (and for us, too) because it's so refreshing to hear a track that has just as much integrity as the artist.
"Ghettos & Gardens" is a moody deep bass that holds and releases the heart, while utterly sweet melodies carry along a consistent feeling of powerful positivity. It's a perfectly balanced, yin and yang, sweet and sour, light and dark sort of pairing that Justin seems to have mastered.
Love that Dirtybird sound, love this track. Get it now at Beatport.
