Why do we like this?
It's hard to believe it's been 10 years since Jurassic 5 last released an album. Since Feedback, the group has been relatively quiet, with their last release being, "The Way We Do It," from two years ago. This week the hip-hop collective dropped a brand new track out of the blue, and it's hot one.
"Service" is classic J5, with each of the members unique and diverse voices flowing over the old school production. Details are scarce about the track, but it does appear to be an un-used song from the Power In Numbers sessions.
Hopefully the announcement of J5 heading out on tour and the re-opening of their online merch store signals a new project is in the works. Either way, it's great to have new J5 in our lives.
