Why do we like this?

Icelandic up-and-comer Júnrus Meyvant delivers another taste of his forthcoming debut, Floating Harmonies, with the groovy single "Mighty Backbone."

The track captures the essence of northern soul, with Meyvant's cascading vocals and upbeat R&B rhythms making "Mighty Backbone" one of those track you just have to get up and dance along with. 

Along with previous single, "Neon Experience," Mayvant's debut is shaping up very nicely and I for one can't wait to hear what he has in store.

Floating Harmonies is out July 8.
