It's so interesting to see Jungle venture slightly away from their usual funky-disco-hip-hop style and dip their toe into the world of retro pop with “Truth.” It’s a fun and catchy little nugget, full of sparkle and color - and as always, utterly danceable. Make no mistake, “Truth” is a curveball and takes a different direction from what we’ve come to expect from Jungle, but it works, and it’s a total vibe. It’s energetic and bright as only Jungle can be, but genre-wise, it’s quite unexpected.
Whether you’re a die-hard fan or not, the catchy melodies, groovy guitar riffs, and hook that just won’t quit will have you on your feet and shuffling about with a smile on your dial in no time flat.
In a statement on the track, Jungle explained:
“‘Truth’ is another moment on the record which came very quickly and naturally. It was the most different sounding thing we had made at the time, and for that reason couldn’t ignore it. For us it’s about youth, love and trust. The feeling of finding someone who means more than anything else in the world.
The latest single from Loving in Stereo, their upcoming third studio album, “Truth” follows “Romeo,” “Talk About It,” and “Keep Moving”, all of which have provided a very clear picture of the magic we can expect when the album drops on August 13th.
