Why do we like this?
The Jungle Giants are pretty much my go-to band to get me into the happy-go-lucky kind of mood. Last Friday, they released their debut album Learn To Exist, and let's just say that I'm going to be in a pretty good mood for the rest of the month.
Instantly you'll sense a great depth of maturity on single "Skin to Bone," something which was lacking in their somewhat whimsical and cute pop songs before. This isn't to say that they've turned into some sort of metal grunge band, they're just taking things a tad more seriously now.
Don't be too concerned, because those trademark vibrant melodies and fast paced guitar riffs are here to stay, as you'll find out from the rest of the album.
