Sometimes you just have to step out on your own to make a name for yourself, even if your band is opening up for bands like The Foo Fighters or working with the likes of Maynard Keenan. Thankfully Juliette Commagere found it in herself to leave behind the comforts of her band Hello Stranger to explore new frontiers of pop music.
Now on to her second album, Human, Commagere has left behind the jangly indie rock guitars of Hello Stranger and replaced them with dreamy synths, sequenced bass, and drum machines. Her newest single off the album "Big Star," continues with the synth pop direction as Commagere's angelic voice glides over layers of sparkly polished, flawlessly produced dream pop with just a slight hint of 80s flair.
