JP Cooper is a British singer-songwriter from Manchester who is ready to be heard by the world.
While we have already shared a few tracks from JP Cooper, such as "Satellite" and "Keep The Quiet Out," today he drops his debut EP titled When The Darkness Comes, and it is nothing short of amazing. JP Cooper has a voice that stacks with the best of them, and his folksy guitar-filled songs are as smooth and soulful as they get.
JP Cooper shares some exclusive words with Indie Shuffle regarding the release of his new EP When The Darkness Comes:
"When the Darkness Comes has been an amazing experience for me... There's been a lot of experimenting with sounds and spaces, from recording in disused 12th century churches that are only inhabited by bats, to making rhythms out of people walking up wooden staircases. Most of the work was recorded with UK producers "One Bit" and the process has been a lot of fun. It's almost an EP of two halves, half fiction, half very personal... I'll let you decide which is which..!”
The titled track from the EP is easily one of my favorites from the album. What's your take? Stream the EP in its entirety here, and grab a copy on iTunes.
