Indie Shuffle newcomer JP Cooper is a British singer/songwriter from Manchester. I was first introduced to JP Cooper with his cover of Angie Stone's "I Wish I Didn't Miss You," and ever since then I have kept this gent on my radar.
The newest track from JP is called "Keep The Quiet Out." It's a smooth and soulful jam that gets better with each and every listen. The buttery tune is a bit different from his typical folksy and guitar-filled songs, but that's in no way a bad thing, with heavier R&B influence and electronic production. It's nice to see an artist grow and mix things up as they mature.
"Keep The Quiet Out" will be featured on JP's upcoming EP that is slated to be released on July 21, 2014. This will also be his first release via Island Records.
