I have been a fan of JP Cooper for a while now (you may recognize him as the vocalist from SG Lewis’ track "Shivers").
His latest track “Five More Days” is Cooper's first offering for 2016, and features rapper Avelino. While being reminiscent of his trademark soulful sound, the song also sees the talented artist working his vocal into new areas, and exploring other genres in his music.
Speaking on the track Cooper says:
"Five More Days" speaks for itself really as far as subject goes. It was a great track to work on and a real collaboration with Kid Harpoon and Avelino, who are as much a part of this track as I am. It’s definitely an excursion from what people might expect from me; but, it’s another opportunity for me to be free stylistically and that's what excites me…”
