Why do we like this?

17-year-old Olivia McCarthy is JOY., a singer, producer and self-proclaimed burrito advocate from Brisbane, Australia. With a string of amazing releases, such as "Weather" and "Stone" under her belt, the talented teenager has slowly drawn a captive audience in the short time she has been releasing tracks on her SoundCloud, and it's easy to see why.

JOY. creates amazingly haunting, ambient electronic music, and "About Us" is the first single from her debut EP, Ode, which premiered at #1 on the iTunes electronic charts when it was released last month. The track features her signature breathy vocals, hazy production and pop writing sensibilities, in an effortless mix of gorgeous, reverberant goodness.
