Why do we like this?

It's been a year since Jordan Klassen's first LP Repentance was released via Nevado Records. He's been touring steadily ever since, and dropped this gem of a new single on us out of the blue!

The first listen through, I wasn't entirely convinced, but after a few listens it's grown on m; I've found myself seeking it out for Jordan's peculiar brand of, well, peculiar pop. It sounds like it should be scoring a trailer for a new Michael Cera/Ellen Page movie. Which is definitely a good thing.
