It's all out of Sydney today as Indie Shuffle gives you this exclusive premiere of the latest single from 80s groove producer Jordan F.
"Set Me Free" features vocals from Morilla, aka one of the members of another Sydney's outfit, Midnight Pool Party.
Jordan sets the tone for this track, highlighting its cheeky funk base and liking it to something out of that 80s adult video game featuring a certain balding, saucy kingpin figure.
"The track is a fun and cheeky slice of upbeat synth funk that will make you feel like you’re with Leisure Suite Larry on his journeys through cosmopolitan hotels, ships, beaches, resorts, and casinos.
The album as a whole follows the uplifting and laid-back, hazy-nostalgic path that was pioneered by the likes of Electric Youth and College, and marks a new chapter in my retro-synth journey."
You'll find this track and more on Jordan F's recently released album Timelines. It's out now via New York City label NewRetroWave and is available from the usual online locations.
