Californian rapper Jonwayne's long in creation sophomore album, Rap Album Two, is finally here. The 12 track release is by far one of the best hip-hop albums of 2017 so far. Jonwayne's descriptive lyrical contents delves into his alcohol addiction and the troubles he's encountered over the past few years, never shy to share the pain and suffering he's caused himself and others.
To coincide with the release, Jonwayne has dropped the visuals for final album track "These Words Are Everything." Over an old school beat sampling the beeping from a life support system, Jonwayne lays his soul on the table as he goes through the years (1996, 2006, 2010 and 2016) describing his life and how he's got to where he is. Having come to terms with the mistakes he's made, the songs last line, "But when I die, I know my words will be my only thing," aptly captures Jonwayne's current state, with the rapper understanding no matter what has happened, his words will always speak the truth and be a reflection of his actions.
