Why do we like this?

I'm coming out of my winter hibernation to share a gorgeous track from 25-year-old North Carolina-based producer Joneses. His latest single, "no1nextoyou," has become one of my most repeated listens of the past month, and is the perfect accompaniment for the Berlin winter.

Featuring the vocal talents of Zainab Darong, the track pairs hip-hop inspired drums with laid-back synths, and atmospheric production to create a gorgeous, ambient cacophony of melancholy. "no1nextoyou" is the first taste of his upcoming 4-track EP Chrysalism, which he will be  dropping new songs from in the upcoming weeks.
