This morning, I listened to the new Harry Styles album and thought it lacks the emotion of someone who has been through all the heartbreak he's singing about.
And then in comes my longtime boyfriend-in-my-head Johnny Flynn with the legitimately powerful "Heart Sunk Hank" off his latest, Sillion. An album that actually came out about six weeks ago, but at least being forever behind came in handy on to save this day that otherwise would have left me emotionally unfulfilled.
Sillion is full of all that classic Johnny Flynn guitar and harmonious choir that I love so much, and "Heart Sunk Hank" is a refreshingly simple, stripped-back track that puts the story at the forefront, as all his best ones do.
