Burgerama
Caravan of Stars Tour 2013 is well underway, and today it hits Detroit. I was planning on going, I mean, I am, it's just that it's turning out to be a dismal day of cold air and rain, and it's totally killing my vibe, man.
Nevertheless, there are a lot of fun acts on the roster, most of which I've never heard -- okay, all of which I've never heard, but I know what to expect. Burger Records puts out super great sun-drenched, 60s pop roc
k, and right about now I really need a little "sun-drenched" anything. John Krautner is one of those artists on the bill, and just so happens that he and his band are "made in Detroit." I don't know much else about him other than he was in was in the now-defunct band The Go and that "Northwood" is currently doing a great job at lifting my spirits. Hear more from Burger Records via
SoundCloud, scope out the full tour via the
Burger website and be sure to keep up to date with John Krautner and his forthcoming album
Fun With Gum VOL. 1. Cute name, huh? Enjoy!
