Why do we like this?

Today marks the 19th anniversary of The Notorious B.I.G.'s passing, and as you can imagine, there have been multiple tributes from a variety of artists. One of the best comes from fellow New Yorker Joey Bada$$, whose "Brooklyn's Own" is a reflection of the classic New York sound Biggie helped pioneer. 

While he doesn't mention Biggie by name over Statik Selektah's old school beat, the Soundcloud link is accompanied by the message, "Rest in Peace to the Notorious BIG! & BIG UPS 2 BROOKLYN HOME OF THE REALEST!!!"
