Joe Goddard is keeping busy. Whether he is helping front Hot Chip, The 2 Bears, or venturing into solo side project territory, this guy always manages to churn out material that supports his musical relevancy more and more.
His most recent project is a four track EP, including the standout dance floor-ready track, "Step Together." This collaboration with German house producer Boris Dlugosch brings forward a familiar sound we've heard from him before, but takes it to a techno/EDM realm that combines an old school aesthetic with new school sounds. This joint effort engages Dlugosch's knack for infectious beats and Goddard's sunny vocals into a blissful combo that seduces you to the dance floor, making you feel so right that it should be wrong.
