Sounds like: Nirvana, Radiohead
Why do we like this?

Jo Passed, a band led by Jo Hirabayashi, of Vancouver, has an album coming out on May 25th called Their Prime.

A few of the tracks can be found here and there, and they are as varied as a bowl of summer fruit salad. That said, I was drawn most of all to “Millennial Trash Blues,” a dense and heavy play, both sonically and lyrically. It’s very grunge, from the screeching feedback in the beginning, all the way through the guitar and drum interlude, until the reverb-filled ending.

It reminds me so much of old, old Nirvana, but with today’s vast array of societal problems at the forefront.
