Shortly after posting about Long Island-based wonder-kid Cream Dream and his infectious track "Wonderful Night,"I was pretty excited to learn viaFacebook that he was working on a remix of JLO's "Waiting for Tonight."
Forgive me for quoting myself, but recalling my Persian Empire post for his remix of "Jenny from the Block," I openly admit to my guilty JLO pleasure that was/is "Waiting for Tonight," saying, "Itraved around in my head like a tacky banner of all I'd yet to admit to myself, and Lopez became the first of many to build upon my dance floorsensibilities." So you might imagine how delighted I was to know I wasn't the only one who harbored said feelings.
Alas, Cream Dream has brought these affirmations full circle with his dynamic garage version of "Waiting for Tonight," and all I have to say, for JLO's sake and my own, relevance is a beautiful thing, no?
