Why do we like this?
Literally minutes after posting her amazing cover version of Nirvana's "Lithium," L.A.'s Jimetta Rose let loose a new track entitled "Inshallah, I AM."
Heads around L.A. know Jimetta and everyone around the world needs to, too. She's shared stages with pretty much everyone in town at one time or another, and recorded with most of them as well. It looks like 2014 is going to be more about Jimetta than her collaborations and that is a great thing.
"Inshallah, I AM" is a powerful, vulnerable testament to faith in oneself, regardless of denomination. The music is astral and Jimetta makes every second count. In describing the song Jimetta shares:
This new track is also dubbed the "Spaceways Radio demo" version, which hints at some collaborative project between the songstress and the L.A. indie radio institution. Keep your ear on Jimetta.

"In the process of writing it, the song came to me as a prayer"¦ a prayer from my heart, for myself, for you, for the world. A prayer that we all recognize the divine lights of our souls, the love that is within us waiting to be shared"¦ infinite in nature."
