"Two black girls on my dick / And I'm the hero" utters Maryland-based rapper Jetty McFly.
Coming on "Black Superhero" with a beat borrowed from Ant of Atmosphere, McFly spits with a scrappy underdog swagger. His last project, Rainbow In The Dark, displayed more of the same wry focus without descending into cheeky e-mcee self-consciousness.
There's a buoyancy to McFly's voice that meshes well with Atmosphere's sound here, enabling "Black Superhero" to resist ever becoming a tired, jacked beat retread.
