I can't help but put this song on repeat, it's just so GOOD. The ambiance that Manning creates with her rich, soulful vocals combined with lush electronics is a killer combo.
The back and forth key changes are a unique take on the transition between verses and chorus, emphasizing the experimental mindset of Manning's music. Every time I listen to it, it just puts me in a great mood and I start moving to the beat.
Here's to hoping for more like "Homestead" on her debut album, What If I Run, out February 11, 2017.
