Why do we like this?

Jesse Boykins III is an extraordinarily soulful artist out of NYC via Jamaica. With a buttery soft voice, his tracks are typically filled with a delicate convolution of R&B and downtempo electronic beats. 

His latest single is "Molly's Refuge," which was produced by AbJo. Emotive, introspective, and intelligent, the track opens slowly as layers of synths, percussion, and Boykins' liquid voice trickles slowly over the beat.  

Steadily cruising through the three plus minutes, "Molly's Refuge" is a well-written and produced single exclusively included on the bonus version of Boykins' latest album.
