Why do we like this?

A few weeks ago, we showed some love to Aussie musician Darren Cross' awesome single, "And The New York Rain Came Down." Today we have another rain-titled single from Cross, this time as part of his collaboration with singer Jessica Cassar. 

Under the guise of Jep And Dep, the talented duo has been creating emotional folk-noir, and "Tears In The Rain" is an absolute treat.

This track was recorded live with just an acoustic guitar and their compelling vocals. There's a rich, earthy quality to their sound that harbors a foreboding darkness. It's their harmonies that really make this work -- the two have great chemistry that comes across through their emotive vocals.
