Jelani Aryeh Stella Brown

I think the key to connecting with an audience as a songwriter lies within the ability to show a certain amount of vulnerability and accessibility to a story. I'm a first time listener of San Diego's Jelani Aryeh, but I can definitely say that he embodies this notion in his eloquently written single, "Stella Brown."

In its simplest form, this single is an ode to past relationships - something to which we can all relate to, but dig a little deeper, and you've stumbled upon something truly honest. You can sense the poignancy with every passing lyric, and you can't help but feel touched by Jelani's raw vocals.
