Why do we like this?
Jaymes Young has really come out of his shell in 2013. He's a favorite upcoming artist of mine, and today we're featuring his stripped down version of "Moondust." It's a beautiful, somewhat chilling version of the stellar original (which we somehow never got around to posting), and proves that sometimes less is more.
I may be stating the obvious here, but Mr. Young has an incredible voice. When put through silky production and resting above a mellow acoustic riff, Young's voice really cuts. He's been regarded as one of the Top New Artists of 2013 on some reputable sites. I'm putting my money on it: Jaymes will be a force to be reckoned with in 2014 and beyond.
In the meantime, it looks like there's a Jaymes Young remix from Sound Remedy coming our way soon. Yum.
