Why do we like this?
Kiely Rich is a 23-year-old progressive/electro house producer from Grand Rapids, Michigan. This is his remix to James Young's "Dark Star," which we reviewed the other day. In short, this is one of my favorite tracks of this summer so far.
Not only is the song incredibly bump worthy, but the kid behind it is pretty interesting. According to Kiely's SoundCloud page, he's been studying biology and chemistry, he recently took an "eye-opening" Jiu Jitsu trip to Brazil, and can also play an array of instruments, including the guitar, ukulele, piano, and bass. Adding to that, the guy found time to scuba dive in Cancun with a go-pro this past weekend. And he obviously makes dope electronic music. Brah, like, wanna be friends?
