Why do we like this?

Here's a holiday gift from Jay West and Dake. It's a free download of West's track "Smile," which was great in 2011. Props to Dake for bringing it back into the new year with this shiny remix.

Based out of Brazil, Dake is bringing his music school sensibilities to his productions. In his edit of "Smile" the vibes are still rich and deep, but he injects a crisp lightness to it; he adds a little more urgency, and a little more grit to the bass.

"Smile" is a great addition to any playlist. Enjoy!
