If Pharrell Williams did house and was Parisian, this is what it would sound like. However unfair comparisons may be, that is the first thing I thought when I heard "Amour Tjs."
In reality, those vocals come from JAW, the frontman of French house wildcards dOP and their indie pop side project, Les Fils du Calvaire. And the beat, built by Germany producer Clapton, perfectly compliments the vibe, making "Amour Tjs" sound like a journey-man's disco — full of wanderlust. Doesn't it just make you happy? (Had to bring that Pharrell reference full circle.)
"Amour Tjs" drops October 13 via Circus Company as part of Jaw & Friends - Midtown, an ambitious album featuring 18 different producers, and of course, JAW.
