Why do we like this?

Nothing has been impressing me lately. Just a lot of over-compressed, over-saturated tracks. That's when I turn to DJ mixes. One always finds the best stuff there!

I found this track, "Our World," through the label Local Talk, in a mix by Swedish duo, Dirtytwo. It's got proper amounts of old school, bounce, and house to appeal to sensitive tastes. 

Toronto-based producer Jason Hodges adds some Chicago juke to his classic house beat. Hip-hop vocals by William Alexander and the organic piano samples give the track a full-bodied, warm quality. And with shouts to Detroit within the track, there's nothing not to love!
