Why do we like this?

With her album just over a month away, Jasmine Rodgers has offered up two new tracks "Underwater" and "Follow You." While both tracks are great, it's "Underwater" that drew me in.

Featuring the added vocals talents of Scott Matthews, Rodgers delicate yet impacting vocals suit the acoustic guitar strumming and light percussion. Mention must also be made of cellist Danny Keane's contribution, adding another layer to the sparse production. 

It reminds me of Fleetwood Mac's classc, "Big Love," with the frantic guitar work and emotive lyrics, and is another highlight of what's sure to be an exceptional album. 

Blood Red Sun is set for release October 28.
